What's The Deal With Tweaked Ankles?

Man, it seems that no matter how careful I am when I skate I alwasy manage to bail or roll over myself somehow.

I don't know if you're the same at all, but injuries can really put a damper on your skating in a very big way. I know because I'm sitting at home right now with 2 tweaked ankles and a desire to skate.
I tried going out yesterday, but after just one frontside boardslide, I could feel my ankles protesting to the rigors that I wanted to put them through.

After witness my buddy Geoff take a massive bail on the same obstacle, we both decided that it would be best if we turned around and headed home insted of staying to skate. I'm pretty sure that was the right decision for the day.

I guess it'l be at least another day till I'm back on again. Until then, I guess it's going to be stretching, working and dreaming about skating till I get back on my board.

All the best,

Jake Berlin

P.S. If you want to check out an article I just wrote about stretching, you can peep it here:

If you have any injuries, stretching will definitely help you get back on your board a lot faster. Stretching before and after skating has done wonders for my sessions. I highly recommend it to everyone.
