Skating In Spite of Lightening
I heard a weather report on the radio today predicting thundershowers all afternoon and all evening, and was pretty pissed off!
It's been raining for a few days now, and I was totally hoping to actually get a skate session in sometime today.
So, just after noon, I looked outside and noticed that it hadn't started raining yet, so I grabbed my skate gear and headed out the door.
I actually managed to get in a pretty long session (approx. 2 hours) but of course it started to rain.
So back home I went -- but not after throwing down a couple of backside tailslides and a sketchy as hell frontside nosegrind revert on the makeshift funbox.
I was pretty low energy the entire time, but managed to enjoy myself none the less.
It's a few hours later now, and I'm looking out the window at nearly clear skies, wondering where the hell the lightning stomr went?
O well, I'm all skated out and look forward to the next session in the sun!
